But, more in the spirit of the thread, the Falmouth Road Race (7 miles). A great elite field every year, metric shit-tons of history, and the Cape during summer--a winning combo. Also, you can run that and the Beach 2 Beacon (10k in Cape Elizabeth, Maine) as bookends during an end-of-summer New England vacation (B2B is August 2nd, Falmouth is August 10th)
