Guys I need help deciding how to train. I work around 40-50 hour/week being on my feet 100% of the time. I work retail so my hours vary, sometimes morning others evenings. Joining a team is out of the question so I have to train alone.
my PR's are: 400 - 51s, 800 - 1:55, 1200 3:02, 1600 - 4:12, 2 miles 9:38, 5,000 15:20, 10,000 31:50
my PRs up to the 1 mile came on an avg of 15-25 miles a week, doing fast 600s around 1:24-1:26. It appears that little miles work for me, vs times when I did 70 miles/wk. I would like to see if anyone has had success running on few miles Quality over Quantity. How many days of Quality are good per week, vs long days? I'm not trying to break world records, just run as fast as I can with my working life style. Thank You!
