Not sure what you mean by \"match the wheel speed.\" The wheel speed will always be air speed plus treadmill speed(assuming perfectly calm wind conditions). The video shows that the air speed and treadmill speed are independent of one another. The wheel and treadmill speeds are completely irrelevant to takeoff (within ridiculous limits, of course), meaning the treadmill speed can be whatever the hell you want it to be and the plane will take off. The wheel speed will just be the sum of the two speeds. The wheel speed and treadmill speed will be \"matched\" if you fix the plane in a reference position (hold the airspeed at zero) and turn on the treadmill (any speed). The treadmill, no matter how magical, can\'t do this \"matching\" because it can\'t affect the airspeed of the plane.
