11.3oz. Why wear such heavy shoes for running?
I usually wear the precisions, which are lighter. But I've always liked the riders too, even if they are heavier. Something about them, maybe their flexibility, makes them feel better to me than cement blocks. That said, I haven't tried the 11's yet.
Anyone else?
I have not run extensively in the 11's yet, but from what I can tell, the toe box is narrower than the 10's and the arch might be a little more built up. Otherwise, it is a very similar shoe to the 10, especially cushion wise.
Same midsole/outsole tooling as the 10. New upper. See: http://www.shoeguide.co.uk/exec/view-shoe/mizuno-wave-rider-11-mens-2008-5
I really like the feel of the Wave Riders, but I have had to switch to the Precision because the new 11's (and the 10's too) seemed to aggravate my PF ... I might continue to keep the 11's in the rotation, but I am taking a break from them for a week or two to see if it helps.
I'd hit it.
Wave Inspires are the way to go.
