Thank God that will never happen to more commercial sites like Nike's log.
A bunch of us have moved to RunningAHEAD.com. The forums, user groups, and running log there are about a brazillion times better too.

A cross between a large number and a person from a certain large South American country better? Wow, that IS an improvement!
hi,
Go to the "cool running log" thread. I managed to get my log from there and then sent it to running2win.com and now everything is back to normality. Also the running2win log is better than the cool running one in any case.
viz-runningahead I dunno as I haven't tried it. maybe try both?
Used to be cool. wrote:

Under 25, dude.

25 abortions or 25 changes?
Active.com bought out coolrunning, there was some major trouble with the running log (which had been CR's biggest strength), and the forums went way downhill (slower, more tightly moderated, and less user-friendly).
I disagree that the runningahead forums are better. It's all rainbows and unicorns over there. CR had one forum which was not unlike letsrun, except the people were generally older, less competitive, and much smarter.

A brazillion? Reminds me of this joke...
The President was briefed this morning.
Bush was told that three Brazilian soldiers were killed in Iraq.
To everyone's amazement, all of the colour ran from Bush's face, then he collapsed onto his desk, head in hands, visibly shaken, almost whimpering.
Finally, he composed himself and asked: "Just exactly how many is a brazillion?"
That's where I got the reference from. :P
And RunningAHEAD.com isn't all rainbows and unicorns. The main forums might be a little on the light side, but the user groups are self moderated and there are plenty that are like letsrun.
And I agree that no forum should "replace" or try to reproduce whats been done here at letsrun.com. That just won't happen. I still visit both and RunningAHEAD.com is mainly for the log (user groups are pretty good as I said too), LetsRun.com for the forums and news.
