How much weight a week could a 5"8.5 147 pound runner expect to lose on a 2000 calorie diet running 60 miles per week with three lifting sessions. i'm not overly strong upper body (bench 170) and i'm not super fast 2:01/4:24

focus on protien only, no sodas, and drink as much water as you can, not even gatorade. After 3 weeks, you'll be down to 136-137 which is around what you should be for ldr.

just my advice, don't try and run 60 mpw on a 2000 calorie diet. you will get hurt or run out of gas eventually. if you run 60 mpw, forget about calories and eat the right foods when you are hungry and stop when you are full, your body will reach it's optimal racing weight.

That is just wrong!!!!!!!!!!
You will lose 1.5 to 2 lbs a week. Two thousand calories is plenty if you make sure you are fueled up before your workout. (Eat about and hour before you run.)
I am going on the same diet as I am about 5-7 lbs heavier than I want to be(5'8"-142). I usually do 2000-2200 calories and will be at the weight I want in about a month.
