About 3-4 weeks ago I banged the top of knee/right above my knee really hard and about a week later I couldn't stride out normally. I tried to run through it but I ended up overcompensating and my groin started to hurt, so now I am taking time off.
I think it is a bruise or contusion, but the longer this drags out I really don't know. It only hurts when I really extend it, like at the back of my leg kick and when I drive forward. Doing a lunge also hurts.
What can I do to speed up recovery and get rid of this? I have already been icing.
