Any estimate of how many people in the world can run sub 2:30 for the marathon?
Has the ability to run sub 2:30 with the proper training, or can run sub 2:30 right now (or in the next 6 weeks)?

To the first I have no idea, but it's a heck of a lot more (a couple of orders of magnitude more?).
612 finishing times faster than 2:30 in 2006 in the usa. Doesn't answer the question exactly, but hope it helps
That 612 is narrowed by probably 50% at least due to repeats (and the Michael Wardians of the world who ran probably 10 or more), but still makes the point of several thousand in the world.
Female coach having affair with male runner. Should I report it?
Colin Sahlman runs 1:45 and Nico Young runs 1:47 in the 800m tonight at the Desert Heat Classic
If Daniel's and Pfitz are outdated..then where do I look for modern training plans?
