ALright, I run the 15 and 5k. In a dream season i run 14:45 this year. I have 52 second quarter speed.
Will this weekly pattern work or is it completely asinine?
80,60,75,65. I'm not talking about buildup I'm thinking about doing this pattern until may. I've been as high as 92, but after a few of those weeks I was pretty spent. I'm trying to get some of the benefits of higher mileage while keeping fresh at the same time. I workout twice a week and race roughly every other week. I don't have the time to go up to 110 and hold it for 3 months before I see benefits. I'm in college and I need to perform almost biweekly and I'll tackle peaking off this later in spring....or can I even peak off of this? What do those with knowledge think?
