Hi
I have a pair of nike zoom miler spikes but i've been told the 7mm ceramic spikes that come with them are too big for indoors. I was wondering what spikes the elite runners would use. Would the ceramic x-mas tree 5mm ones be best?

Doesn't having Xmas trees under your feet make you feel like a fairy?
ohmanohman that was funny. you are so smart and witty.
sorry only just caught this thread,
basically you wouldnt need spike longer than 6mm's when i ran for nike i ran all my good races in the eldoret 2's which dont have massive spikes molded in the spike plate. I think if you get your hands on some slightly smaller spikes you will be fine and they dont have to be x-mas tree ones either- just the normal ones will be more than ok.
good luck and see you on the boards come the new year,
cheers jt
