I am traveling to Sydney for 1 week.
I want to get in a track workout.
I am staying at Darling Harbour and won't have a car, so hopefully one is close enough for a good warm-up jog.

Try the E.S Marks athletic field. a bit of a dinosaur now, but it'll probably get the job done

I watched some races on TV on a track in Sydney about 7 years ago so I'm pretty sure they have a track.
Nah, they banned all tracks over there a few years ago.

yo, there are tracks here but you would need a car. homebush (where the olmpics were) is the closest.
What kind of times do you run...maybe I'll do a run with you.
Nothing fancy. I was thinking of a 4 or 5 x 1200 at 5:20 pace with a 4 minute jog rest in between each.
I still didn't get any tracks. That Marks field is pretty bad... I have been there before.
There are a couple of grass tracks that I know of. There is one off of Mowbray Road about two blocks off of Epping Road(Take the 288 or 292 bus along Epping Road and get off right before the bridge to cross the Lane Cove River). Also, there is another one about a mile away from the Macquarie Center. Take the 288, 290, or 292 bus from QVB. Good luck finding them.
