Before I get to the question, I know that runners have no friends. With that out of the way...
I'm trying to get a few friends ready to run on a local 4x4 team. They're all between 20 and 25, and they've been running for fitness/fun since the beginning of the summer, mostly jogging. I have until about February to have them in good shape. So far, I've had them doing basic workouts of a few 200s or 400s, plus striders every other day or so. Is it worth their time to lift? Any other suggestions?
