Yes, but you do it by sneaking in late everyday and dreaming about fishing.

...you see Peter, we're using the new cover for the training log now. I'll make sure you get a copy of that memo
We have no record of him even running on this team. But by some glitch in the scholarships by the university, he is still receiving aid.
So Milton is getting cut from the team?
No, no. You see, we FIXED, the glitch. We like to avoid confrontation whenever possible.
You know the Nazi's had flair....they made the Jews wear...
I have a friend in NC - Garick Hill. He ran Chicago last year in 2:21. He trained for the race as a medical student - sometimes running 80miles a week and working 80 hours a week. There were times he'd go out for an 18 miler after working 32 out of the preceding 36 hrs. He tried to do the same thing for the trials but crashed and burned at 22 miles. Still - I give him the award for best runner working > 60rs a week and not sleeping much.

This summer I ran 90-115 mile weeks and I worked contruction 40 hours a week. It sucked and I had no life but now running 100 mile weeks is by no means difficult.
While Im sure running that much was difficult, I worked 40 hr weeks and did similiar mileage through college, it is a completely different story to run while working a job that is not just for the summer.
Getting up every morning is a LOT easier when you know you only have to do it for a few months, or a few more weeks or whatever. When you have a job that sucks the soul right out of you with no end in sight and no reason to hope that something better is on the horizon, the pain of getting up early or heading out after a long day, is that much more acute and intolerable.
Happy Running!

Yes, every person is designed the same way and 100 mile per weeks will effect each person the same way. The people who can't do it are weak mentally.
I think I'm just gonna skip the track workout today and go home and watch some Kung Fu.
I think you all should come over to my house and watch some Kung Fu.
