if he can out a smart seasonal plan together than yes.
it wont matter when Solinsky goes 13:05.
Is he still using up his wrestling eligibility at Wisco?
Also, Ian Dobson? Tim Broe?

SolinskyIdolizer....you have no clue.
There is no way Chris is going to quit because "he doesn't want to be just antoher profession racer." If anything, it will make him train even harder to become his best.
Quit? What is he going to do then? I am sure Nike pays him much more to run than any job his history major would get him.
yeah man, i'm still holding my cards on ian dobson. waiting for the guy to come around, and when he does its gonna be sweet. i wish he wouldnt train at altitude though. itd be awesome if he trained with schumacher's group. 13:16 at 22.
what other good 5k coaches are there in the U.S that coach professional athletes?
do you think mcdougal is going to try and make it as a 5000m runner? i deffinately think he could if he wanted to. i mean, he ran 13:20 last year along with a 3:57 mile, so he not only had the endurance but he does have some wheels. i get the feeling he just wants to go for the 10k and longer and road race and seek God that way and whatnot. i would consider him a threat if he started making himself a threat in national championships, but he hasnt reallly shown that he can do that except for one time - 2005 ncaa's where he placed 4th. he needs to learn to not blow his load early on and save it for when it really counts. if mcdougal trained under schumacher though, there's no doubt in my mind he could be one of the top 5k runners in the nation in the next couple years. although jimmerson came from a similar crop of training philosophy - i think jimmerson was influenced by lannana and daniels when he was at stanford.
