He faced a (relatively) weak field and equalizing course conditions there.
I am concerned that the Central Park course isn't ideally suited for a rhythmn runner (a floater) like Alan...or Abdi. That grinders like Hall, Sell, and even Meb would do better with the undulations.
How say u?

Apart from the ditch they had to cross, there seemed long flat stretches. Also, rhythm runners can be mudlarks.
