Due to some injury problems, I haven't run consistently since January. My goal is to run a marathon on March 2, 2008. Would I be able to pull it off with some degree of success?

Depends on what your definition of success is. But nobody can give you reasonable advice without more info (background, current mileage, goal time, etc.)
i'm 18 years old and i've had injury problems chronically for the last 3 years. I really haven't ran since January due to a nagging runner's knee problem. In last August I finally visited a PT and he said my left leg was a half inch shorter than my right, and there's a huge muscle imbalance. Anyways, he gave me a ton of exercises to do and I went a month straight without injury problems or knee pain(first time that's happened since last summer, where I went 8 weeks without an injury. lol.).
My PR for the 5k is roughly 16:55, but that was 2 weeks off a major injury. I'm absolutely convinced I was in sub-16 shape last summer before I pulled my VMO.
I know I probably shouldn't run a marathon until age 25, but it'd be a huge personal statement to myself to go up and run a healthy marathon. I'm looking to perform, but I definitely won't be embarrassed if I get my shit pushed in. I basically have 17 weeks, and most people recommend a 20-24 week program. Do you think I could pull it off?
I don't think that you should even THINK about running a marathon until you can train consistently and without injury.
After you have been running consistent easy mileage (50 or more per week) without any problems, for at least 2 months, then and ONLY then, you can start to plan for a marathon.
Just get your problems fixed, and see all the chiropractors, massage therapists, physiotherapist, etc., that you can, and THEN start to run a bit.

Unless you want be injured for another 3 years (or longer, or... forever) please do not run a marathon. Please do not even train for one. Seriouly. You are young and there are a lot of other better things you should be doing.
