How long does your high school practice last. Mine goes 3+ hours with warmup, streching, workouts, cooldown, stretch, drills/weights, and ice. It seems long. What do you guys do?

I'd say most HS practices are between 2-3 hours. 3 hours is on the high end. The practices should get shorter near the end of your season.
Some programs do weights in the mornings which cuts down on the pm practice.
five minutes to warm up, workout, stretch, go home... no reason to over complicate it... shouldn't take more than 90 min. most days.
It has been a while, but we'd do a slow 10 minute warmup jog, followed by a stretching and core strengthening routine, occasional form drills. We'd often be 30-40 minutes into practice by the time we ran. I would have been a better HS runner if we'd taken more of than 30-40 minutes to run more than 25 MPW. But I think 90-120 minute practices were the norm.
For most kids, it's very difficult to get much *learning* after about 90min. (But, as usual, people are different and what works for one might not work for another.) Hence I would certainly suggest that drill work be done earlier in the practice, if the idea is to teach improved technique. But if the drills are already well-learned, later is probably okay too.
Does your team do well (fast races, few injuries)? If so, your coach(es) may actually have a clue...
Even on workout days, 90 minutes is the max. Once every two weeks we do yoga, which stretches it to 2 hours.
