Jason must have been closing in on Abdi towards the end. 3 miles out I am pretty sure he was more than 13 seconds back. Great result for him for sure.

Abdi is not healthy. He was talking the night before about a hip problem.
since Carney's arrival to Boulder, Ed Torres a better runner. seems like they train well together.
also...props to Lehmkuhle. he's running great right now. I wouldn't be surprised to see him run really well at the Trails next month. Though he's displayed promise over the past few years...he could be the Briney of this years race.
carney is a fag
Carney is a stud, as a runner and his personality. Have you ever meet the guy?

both carney and etorres is with bhudson.
g.torres left hudson? good for him.
Yeah, Lehmkhule looked awesome. That guy could be a dark-horse in the marathon (as wejo says on the front) if he gets the last few weeks right.
Lehm - I know you have an awesome coach, but you have plenty of speed, no need to "sharpen up" with track work now. Work on your marathon fuel conservation between now and the trails (long tempo runs at or slower than 5 min/mile). That is what will keep you from crashing like the last time!
Yes, right everyone, who the hell am I to question what they do? But lots of the Team USA runners never seem to match their impressive debuts (except guys like Lundstrom, who has NO speed and absolutely NEEDS to keep working on it right up until the last week before a marathon). I'm speculating that they try to crank things up for subsequent races by piling in more quality work.
I thought I read somewhere that another runner died in either this race or another 10-miler this weekend (Army perhaps?). True?
When I watched the video of Brian Sell running 5 minute pace on the Central Park loop and after 16 miles thinking he had another loop to go, I can say that no athlete that ran over 50 minutes at Twin Cities will be a factor at the trials.
Dan Browne will be a factor.

who actually coaches this carney character? and wow looks as if E. Torres is running out of the shadow of his brother. speaking of his brother where is J.Torres?
Hudson is their coach.
Carney is definitely the darkhorse of the trials...he could sneak in and keep a big dog out of the olympics.
Shhh!!! Keep it on the down-low regarding Carney!!
Dan Browne will never be a factor in a major marathon. He has failed at New York and Chicago and the Olympics. Who did he beat at Twin Cities or the last trials? No one. He is afraid of Meb and Culpepper and Abdi and Hall. He will be scared to death in this race.
it is true. i heard it on the news as well. i ran the race and had no idea that happened until later that night.
That sucks. Did they say what he died of?
Is this you?
