10082 Joshua Moen 49:20
I thought Carney was out with an achilles injury. That's a pretty great finish.
The weather here is horrible today. For running anyway. This is the first in four years I havn't ran TCM. Glad I didn't. Windy 71+ and humid at the start. Storms this afternoon and a high of 60 tomorrow. Glad I opted for Des Moines this year. Now I just have to get through my last long run today.
who actually coaches this carney character? and wow looks as if E. Torres is running out of the shadow of his brother. speaking of his brother where is J.Torres?
Carney missed the us track nationals but has been back and performing with some great results at Falmouth, New haven 20k and now the US 10 miler. He is A PSAC conference guy and it is nice to see him to so well. I think he coaches himself.
i think Lemkuhle had the best race- 13 seconds back from Abdi isn't bad. i would expect abdi to win this race(nothing comparable though to that 45:52 10 miler ran by someone else recently). Carney and E. Torres ran pretty well too, and I wouldn't have expected to see Brett Gotcher beating the likes of Hussein and Sheehan in a 10 miler. i wonder if a lot of these guys are running the marathon trials. is there an entry list right now for who's registered for the marathon trials?
anyone know what happened to schoolmeester?
Just moving on to other things in his life probaby. He wasnt all that anyway to be honest.
Where are the ex-Hanson guys running/training these days? Is Moen coaching himself or is he on a team?
3 of them ran in the Marathon out here today. I think Josh Eberly was the first american just under 2:30. Travis Laird was a few minutes back aand Jeff Gaudette DNF'd. I think they are more leisurely now and are just enjoying the less stress that was involved in the professional side of things.
