Going for a sub-2:47 in Chicago on Sunday. Weather looks terrible. Anyone else thinking of saving it for another day?
From the east coast. Marine Corps, Richmond, Philadelphia are possible back-up options.

Richmond and Philly are good possibilities, but any race could burn you with the weather.
Philly is tradtionally good weather - mid to upper 40s, not much wind - but there have been 1 or 2 hot or cold years. Good bet, though.
Quick, change your flight...
Yes, moving athletes to Philly.
I'd wait for a January/December race...tough to hold a peak to Philly. I would focus on something like CIM, Houston or PF Chang's in AZ.
I think that Rocket City is supposed to be ok too.
CIM is a great race. Probably will have another pace group for 2:47...
Cowtown is this weekend if you can make it.
Sunday is the last day you can qualify for the 08 trials.
since this is clearly a thread about women, you're wrong.
Sorry, didn't realize the deadlines were different. Why is that so? Seems pretty unfair to the men.
because the races are at different times.
don't really see how it's all that unfair. the men aren't competing with the women for spots.
Philly already has a good group of women looking to qualify. So, if any women are thinking of dropping out of Chicago, Philly is definitely a good place to go.
