Brent Vaughn takes the lead from Mark Korir, Wyoming, late in the race to win in 24:45. Korir 2nd, Stephen Pifer 3rd, Kenyon Neuman 4th, Western, Richard Medina 6th (?), Matt Tebo (7th). May have been another Western runner in there ahead of Neuman and/or Medina and Tebo. Both Medina and Tebo ran well as freshman.
Women's race - Sara Vaugn 1st, Erin Marston 2nd. Jenny Barringer and Aislynn Ryan did not run.

I was out at the meet today. CU guys looked pretty good. Vaughn looked strong and very comfortable running 24:40's on a very tough course. Under 25:00 on that course it blazing. Pifer ran well too, under 26:00.
Vaughn's wife, Sara, won the women's race.
Off the topic. I'd never noticed that Vaughn must have been in a burn accident as a youth. Anyone know his story?
