Lovely, thank you.
I guess that means I was invited!
On a more serious note, Concordia of Cal will dominate just like they did last year.
Anchorage will be one of the top teams as well.
Also, since when is there a high school race?
of note to some:
Jordan McNamara entered unnattached.

Definitely a contender.
what's the course like?
dead grass and pavement like usual?
can't wait!
Not sure if this is accurate but a friend told me that they had to change the course this year, as the old course had too much pavement on it to be legal. Though I never heard of such a rule....
I am rocking this one, bitches.

Who?
the guy who was supposed to transfer to Oregon and be on their varsity, but wasn't on the roster at the beginning of the season.
Marijuologist - it's on. what race you in? Gold or cardinal?
I look forward to a changed course because too few will admit the course is always short.
The small school Coaches like to have their teams run Willamette because then they can lie to their runners and let them think it is accurate and then they post fraudelent PR's that are sometimes 45 to 55 seconds faster than their real times.
The real race is hosted by U of O at the Springfield Golf Course as a preview of the West Regional on November 10th.
Who said the course has been changed? the course maps they have online are the exact same ones they have had in the past.
Looks like someone is just stirring up some of the dissing from the past of the course being short.
You can do a google earth path map on it and see what it comes up to.
Last year I ran on 6 different 8k courses and went in order:
25:00, 24:24, 25:46, 25:03, 25:19, 25:02
Yes, the 24:24 was willamette. But I will say that competition there was the best all year, including nationals, so you would expect a fast time, on a fast course with great competition. The slowest race was a strategic race.
Anyway, my two cents......
The course has not changed at all. The race at Willamette two weeks ago used a different course. The invite is same as it ever was.
Is aquinas really bringing all of those runners? What is it? 23 on the women's side???
Heard their #1 guy has not run yet this year. Is he back yet (if true)?

Didn't he run for University of Washington? The 800 guy?
