Basically did the same thing....over the course of several years. I "ran" Philly last November, then started eating...and eating. That was a bad thing. I told my doctor that I now have the engine of a Porsche in the body of a Greyhound bus.
Most of my PR's are from the late 80's, and I don't know if I'll ever get near them again. But...by this time next year, goal is to drop 50 lbs., and maybe run NYC. Actually, I did my first marathon at NY in 1980, and I'd love to go back 25 years later--in 2005--and run faster than I did in 80.
I see no point in getting pissed at the nasty posts asking this thread to be deleted...what can you expect of 20 somethings who know absolutely everything?
