What is the Farm Team up to at this time of year?
Are the 800m people doing miles?
What are the milers doing?
Stembler?
Lunn?
Will there be a XC program?
Thanks

I've been wondering the same thing... They usually have some of their 5k,10k, 'thon guys do cross, and some did race this past Sunday in GGP, but it was strange as some were not in uniform while others did were FT colors... Perhaps this is not unusual as they don't ever seem particularly interested in the regional title.
here is an interesting note. it was widely speculated that the hauser that ran the 20k and 5k was actually brent, who hasnt trained seriously, just goes on runs. Brad entered the races and got the travel paid and brent went and ran them. Brent is going to make a comeback for the oly year and wanted to have some fun and test his fitness. those whacky hausers!
I heard that Brad and his wife went up to Mamouth for some high altitude work. But, who is coaching Brad now. I know that Vin was his coach before Vin left for Ohio.
Stember (not Stembler) is going to run some road races. Then he is going to take some time off.
What is Jon Reilley doing?
There doesn't seem to be a plan. Or, each athlete is on a different plan. Nuggiebauer moved to Colorado for a job for a short time. Smiley is puttin' in miles. Brad and Sally are doin' it at altitude. Lunn will move to Colorado and do miles.Teets will be up to her bones in water.
Hauser is running terrible. He ran faster in high school than he's been running the last 6 months or so.
Gilmore ONLY beat me by 2 minutes at GGP, ha.
Will Lunn return to NY to run the JP Morgan/Chase Corporate Challenge? I think that he finished second last year or the year before.
Heard Jason no longer works for Merrill. He's a full-time runner now. The JPMorgan Cahse CC San Fran race is Sep 17. Wathc for a few Nike FT names there.
The Merrill FTers will be there, but the only ones left are Cullum and Bennett. Jason's brother Kris is going to run for Merrill also, but he does not run for the FT anymore. As for Lunn, he stoped working in Dec. He is running the Maui Mile in a week.
As of early August, Appenheimer only scheduled one race before XC Club Nationals.
Maybe things have changed.
The reason why some were in uniform and others were not is that they have new standards...if you don't have the USATF standard you are not a member and therefore you must run unattached and you CAN'T wear anything bearing the team name. You are able to train with the team but you're not officially on their roster.
Will Mr. J.A.M. run the Chase?
How about Granville and Woodward?
What are the JV guys doing, like Gibbons and Griffin.
Our team qualified for the JPMorganChase CC finals and I'm planning on doing it -- we have soem good mojo going because our 4th guy in the qualifying race is named -- no kidding -- Frank Gagliano.

Drew Griffin has been hurt and left town for a vacation. Gibbons gets distracted easily for a Columbia guy and started a new job. He thinks that he is working hard and will figure things out in several months when his racing hits the shitter. I do not know anything about the 800 dudes.

Wow! So much for supporing up and coming runners. How elitist can you get? I realize that the FT is supposed to be an elite group, but what good does it do for nike if they wear adidas in meets. I guess they are not going to do club cross nats, sinince most of their trials guys can't be bothered.
What is the threshold that separates a "hobbyjogger" from a "sub-elite" runner?
