Man thats are a joke...not the rankings but the whole idea of the NAIA
The NAIA has become the highlight of the message boards the last couple of weeks, it's a little early to be getting this worked up. Footlocker isn't for another 2 months.
OMG you are hilarious! Comparing the NAIA to the top high school runners in the country...geez it doesn't get much better than this guy!

what is funny is that this guy 'used to be fast...' lives to post dumb stuff on any naia thread.
what kind of loser would take the time to post on every naia thread that he thinks the naia is not worthy of a thread?

If I were within 15 feet of you I'd leap through the air and perform a super kick and hit you right in the face. That'd be awesome wouldn't it, super kicks rock.
I follow all NAIA threads because I have to watch out for the children. You're all god damn sex offenders!
Hey, how bout we actually talk about the rankings. Im a NAIA guy, other people are, how bout we all just shutup about bashing each other and talk about the freakin' topic. Geez, we have 40 year old men acting so childish. Everyone on here are runners, repect each other and the sport.
So you do admit that all most NAIA runners are 40+? I knew someone would admit it!
No, most people on here posting are out of college I'd say. I've never ran against anyone older then 22. Plus, how would a 40 yr. old compare to kids 18-22. Thats not even a good arguement.
Why not just talk about the naia rankings? Make another thread if you want to cry and complain.
I don't really understand "used to be fast..." argument or purpose. He's proven himself to be more functionally illiterate than any of us in the naia (granted, there's been some sloppy posts by us as well, but not with the consistency he's shown). He constantly brings up this idea that the naia is full of old people who have a tremendous advantage due to their age, yet his name implies that the years haven't been so kind to him. Then he brings up the talent level of the naia, which there's been, oh, about 30 threads on already. I think it's been proven the world over that the naia has it's shining examples of greatness, examples that would place naia runners in the top 0.05% of D1 runners time and time again. The depth is lacking by comparison, but that's participation. There's slow runners everywhere. So I gotta ask, "used to be fast..." with this inane amount of time you're dedicating to this mystery cause, are you trying to put down slow runners for trying, or fast people for being fast?
The only thing I can think of is that it bothers you that someone in the NAIA could be rewarded with a title like "all-american" without being as talented as their D1 counterpart. If that's bothering you this much, than as fast as you think you might have been, you obviously failed to reach the level of success you wanted and wish you had been a part of the naia where you might have garnered more of the acclaim. sorry to hear about your sad story there bud.
naia, some serious movement in the rankings this week....what are the next big races coming up?
Interesting rankings for week 2. But it makes me wonder....
1. How is Missouri Baptist ranked higher than Lidenwood? Lidenwood is clearly better.
2. How is there such a gap in the rankings between teams? FOR EXAMPLE. Southwestern beat William Woods at the Missouri Southern Stampede by only 2 points but yet Southwestern is ranked #25 with 38 votes and William Woods is #30 with 3 votes.....does 2 points make THAT much of a difference????
On a different note, it was good to see Indiana Tech become ranked. Watch out for these guys to be top 10 or better at nationals!

The Loyola Lakefront Invitational meet in Chicago, IL on September 29th should be a big one.
Then October 13th will be the NAIA Mid-States, which should be a good one as well. After that starts the conference meets, then regionals 2 weeks later.
I hear Loyola is a pretty good meet... Can you tell me what the course is like and how good the competition is? Is there a lot of ranked teams going this year? What's the atmosphere like?

You're such a loser.
Big jump in the ranking by Cornerstone but their performance in Wisconsin deserved it.
Where did their #2 man come from?
Do they have a shot at winning their conference or region?
Yah. It is in a local communtity park. It gets narrow quick so you've got to get out quick. There is a man made hill which you will go over 5 times during the race. There is one spot which is pretty sandy, about 50m in length. Also, there is quite a bit of concrete, so flats could be useful unless it rains.
What ranked NAIA teams will be there?
Malone will be there, who else?
