Out & back for total, 40:23. AHR 136 MHR 151. Varied pace.
20:10 out, 20:12 return.
not much time today....34 minutes around downtown at lunch time
For a shorter 26:59.
Keeping HR below 145 AHR 141 MHR *146 *(pace got too comfortable).
Rather still, humid day.....a wind warning is imminent for here?
Monday afternoon: 1hr downtown "tourist" run with a colleague from out of town. Tuesday no-time-to-run forced rest day. Still cycling around though...
poosing where I am, running was miserable for thje first 45. Last 20 minutes felt fine.
*Pooring*
36:00 on hilly course. Short on time today.
Ran for 54:27, some hills.
Pushed some of the hills & picked up pace returning.
AHR 146, MHR 161
Day off yesterday. 62' trail run this morning.
23:46 in a local very hilly 5K race, a fundraiser for a local church's Kindergarten.
1st Senior 50-59 year old men, 5th overall.
A miniscule thing in the workings of the Universe, but a triumph for me.
No run yesterday.
Today, for 30:35, a fairly brisk pace (by my standards). Quick leg turnover. AHR 144 MHR 155.
Hey! It's been a while! Not to worry, I've been doing some easy track and road sessions to get my fitness back to where it was before the break(s). Yesterday did 7 x 1K @ 105% vVO2max with equal rest. Felt good and no problems. Followed by another of Coach's "special" massages. Man, that's good stuff!
Here's hoping you all are running well and enjoying yourselves!
Phew! That's great, Running Dogg. I was worried.
And please link a pic of your coach. Is she on your site?
Well, I'm on my way out the door for my first sub35 10k in 6 years. Wish me luck!.....
2-mile walk, pretty chilly and I have a fairly raspy voice and very sore throat. Amazing how zapped I felt this AM after my 5K race yesterday. My first mile split, an uphill start, was my fastest in 7 years, so that didn't help.
The temperatures have dropped radcially up here in new england over the past week, 38 degrees F before the start of the race...dropping sort of like the Red Sox last PM. I can sense a borderline cold possibly coming on.

LMAO. Hammy been reporting tho. ;))
Heya running dog; what pace is 105%. is it close to the 2:03 800s off 45 seconds rest? He asked, expecting there not to be an answer. ;))

I don't have a site and even if I did I would not provide a link for you. My coach is hott enough to turn even you straight!
(My apologies to the rest of you. Normally I take the high road and ignore "The Troll", but I think he deserved a bitch slap this time for trying to denegrate my coach. This guy will stop at nothing in his attempts to sabotage a good thread.)

Thanks for your question. I am always willing to try to help others better understand the nuances of training. The pace you reference is slightly faster than 3K race pace. The workout is a standard VO2max workout where the goal is to improve one's aerobic capacity.
Some of us know who you are man and as expected you didn't ansewr the question. But nevermind ok; Just keep potin your daily imaginary running and help from the coach. It amuses me.:))
Anyhow, my run today:
For 35:40, 4x around a gently undulating circuit, included 3:05 - 3:53 pick ups....AHR 144 MHR 160, working in some faster running.

Hahahaha! C'mon Running Dogg. Add something about running to your well known site.
Today didn't go well. I got a bad stitch. My wife (even though I'm gay according to Running Dogg) also had stomach issues, and we are wondering about last night's chicken???
Anyway, if you are interested, there is some info at
www.cvrr.caforum. (And that site contains some actual TRUTH regarding running. Hahahahaha......)
