I finally had a chance to watch the men's 4x4 relay on WCSN, and began to wonder......
1. Why didn't the USA coaches run Kerron Clement on the finals relay? His 400 hurdles race was crazy and he had ample time to recover to run a blazing relay leg.
2. Is it a reasonable expectation for the USA to break that world record when they are so far out front, or should they be able to break it running.....basically a team time trial?
3. Although I know Darold Williamson is a damn solid 400m guy.....did he get to run the 4x4 because Warnier wanted him on the relay to get him a medal OR had Darold EARNED that position.
Just curious as to what you all think of this! I don't mean to put Williamson down, but I do think that Clement would have clearly better a stronger option.
