Alan Webb so much as dangles a participle and you guys are on him like Regina on EPO. Lagat looked like he almost wasn't going to invite the other medalists atop the podium with him (for the 1500 awards ceremony). I shudder to think if that had been Alan. Lagat is glabrous as the national bird of his adopted country, but does anyone call HIM baldy? No. Webb gets a little growth going up there and everybody has a field day. So let's hair [sic] it. What gives?
It surely couldn't be that you all are just more familiar with Webb, having watched him develop as a high-schooler. I mean, they're both the same, right? Both equally American. So why the preferential treatment of Lagat?
