yes slightly, they both beat lagat over 1500 this season and when it mattered Webb was only one position ahead of him and only a couple of tenths if that.

so webb has a terrible race (missing the kick he had all season) and badders has a great race, and webb still beats badders.
oh, and he's much faster at every distance.
oh, crap, i keep forgetting not to reply to trolls.
Slightly better is all it takes. Lagat was only 'slightly better' than Ramzi. When's the last time Badderly finished 'slightly better' than Webb in a race?
I reckon a fit Michael East (5th at last olympics) would have won the race. Hope he gets back to full fitness sometime soon. All the best Easty!
was webb's race all that bad? did you see the finish pic, he was about one stride behind Lagat...

You reckon wrong Mr. East.
haha, you should modify your subject title to "WEBB A HEAD CASE"
he is clearly in a different league than badd.
Badderly has never run under 3:50 for the mile or even broke 3:32 for the 1500. His 800 pr is also much slower than Webbs. Comparing Badderly to Lukezic or Myers would be more accurate. Sorry, England you don't have a miler yet.

I know, but they keep trying to find someone right? lol. It's like they have a nation on the edge of could be...and all they want is one just to go a lil crazy.
When was the last time an american won the 1500 at the olympics or had a world champion at 1500m. Well
Even that bloke Roger Bannister couldn't get it done in Helsinki...
Lagat don't count, because hes not an american. Hes a chumpass wannabe

By the way, isn't his name Baddeley?
If we are talking leagues Webb is perhaps in a slightly higher league than Badders but in a lower league than a fit Ramzi. Badders on this year's form is in a league above Myers and Lukezic.

remind me of Badderly's mile pr again?
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
