Please don't start another Caig Lake whining thread. You guys are getting annoying.
If you are a Brown alum yourself, I would love to hear your thoughts on this:

Talk about "positive spin." No mention of Michigan, or acknowledgment that the Michigan training is what got her on the team. Me thinks someone is trying to take credit where credit ain't due.
I don't give a damn about Craig Lake; I asked if their were Brown Track and CC Alums out there. Your assumption is what is annoying.

Yeah sure it's all down to Michigan, what made her a two time All-American while at Brown had nothing to do with it!
Interesting read; don't know that much about the women's program or the circumstances surrounding Anna and her training departure to comment. However I do have a great picture of her and the greatest middle distance runner Trinity Gray after US Nationals this year!!!
Brown is for the middle class , parents often did not go to college and own liquor stores.
Mine didn't go to college but didn't own a liquor store. At the time they just owned some land and a double-wide trailer. Now they own a new home on more land, and rent the double-wide trailer to the less fortunate.
More importantly, alums that are in the DC area graduating between 1996 and 2003

Not sure about brown guys in the DC area, but there are plenty of Princeton guys. And they owned you during that era!
Yup I recalled the Princeton Dynasty
Brown never had depth, you can't win if you place 1st, and the other TEAM gets 2nd, 4th, and 6th

Yes, if you're referring to the '97 Heps, then that was a win for the ages. Princeton's mens team beat the rest of the Heps COMBINED. Legendary stuff.
Oh well
Any track Ivy Leaguer's from 98-03 in the DC area want to get together for Happy Hour. We could drink and tell tall tales over cheap liquor/beer. Maybe have someone from Harvard pay for it all :)
Willard was good before coming to ann Arbor sure, but the training and groupthink at UM and mind of McGuire is what got here there this year. I wager she would tell you the same.

Circumstance was that she graduated and therefore had no eligibility left at Brown!
sprinters are almost always brown.
