please keep in mind that Kiprop's 3:35 PB to win the notoriously brutal Kenyan trials was SET AT ALTITUDE.
Also keep in mind that he is extremely young, a greenhorn, therefore it will come as a great surprise to few (well, maybe you) if he PB's massively in Osaka.
Osaka is not at altitude. It will be hot. Kiprop is better equiped to run in hot, stifling conditions than most in the field. He is, after all, the reigning World Junior Cross Country champion, and he won in the oven that was Mombasa.
He's not as accomplished as Webb (only because of his age), I'll give you that, but he is a legitimate medal threat. So lay off him!
