I've lived all over the South and North.
I have yet to find a states whose weather is better than NC year round.
It might be hot in the Summer but only for a few days. The rest of the summer its in the 80s and 90s. Which seems bad but you get used to it.
Today it got as high as 108 where I was at but as soon as the sun started to drop the temp dropped to 87.
The best part is the winters. It will be in the 60s and 70s through the winter in a lot of places in NC. Up North it was just miserable cold during about 6 months of year.
In NC its running weather almost year round except for August.
Then again its all about where you were raised and what your body can handle. I can't stand the cold. I love the heat and good hard run. So it comes down to personal preference.
I have a two buddies one from Ohio and the other from Chicago. Both say that the reason they moved down South was because of the weather and both say they will never go back because of the weather up there. Like I said before it's all about personal preference.
