That's pretty freaking funny that you know that. I bet you somehow must be a non-running friend of ours just causing trouble.
For the record, luke was very talented and quite the ladies man. He could have been pretty good if he was dedicated and ran in college.
More importantly, JK would be irate if I didn't state the Luke really should still hold the 800 school record. His time was FAT. Downs' was hand-time and the standard conversion would put him outside of Luke's.
However, the new track coach of course ignored protocal and gave it to his guy.
I watched "Bottle Rocket" again this weekend and looked it up on IMDB.com. Luke Wilson's bio mentioned that he was a runner and I just connected the dots.
