Where was Dwight Stones? Different network?

They only showed a few hours. Where's the other 80 hours that was the meet. Flowcasts was locked out of the finals. NBC SUCKS.

I suggest you and flowcast buddies start a major network and buy the rights to the meet.
NBC bought time to primarily show Louis's, Ato's, and Carol's face. Wish they spent more time showing the races rather than their ugly mugs.
nbc didn't show 95% of the meet. where's the rest ?
NBC SUCKS
It probably wouldn't make good marketing sense to show USATFs in the entirety. At six to ten hours a day, that would take up the majority of their broadcast day, and probably cost NBC millions in ad revenue.
Three hours (with commercial breaks) is about as long as American networks (and Americans) can expect to hold any reasonable attention span. American football, baseball and basketball are built for TV. Conduct a survey of all your non-runner friends (assuming that they exist) and see if they'd sit by the TV for six hours a day, watching track. Hell, survey HS track kids; most I know would rather watch a basketball game and have little interest in watching track on TV.
USATF's TV website should have all the races. I don't know the website address. Contact Craig Masback at USATF for more information.
Clearly can't please some idiots...pissed off no matter what. It was the best meet, with the best crew, and flocast (that no one but track geeks care about) or complaining about "ugly mugs" cant change that. they were on camera for 2 minutes and that pisses u off too? Post your mug, for us to see, bitch. Email NBC and ask them to show all 60 hours of the meet. What losers some of u are!
Show me the &*^% ratings that is what matters, not what u bitches think. It wasnt for you, we already know u t-nucs are gonna watch
The best solution is for USATF volunteers to tape all the races with USATF issued media credentials, and post them on youtube. It would be nice to see all the jav throws, the whole 10k, the junior races, race walk, hammer prelims, etc.
I would love to see the powers that be put Toni Reavis in the mix...Tom Hammonds/Ato Bolden/Toni Reavis...now that would be a crew![/quote]
Toni is boring for track and field. He is great for road running events. Ato brings great energy. Tom Hammonds does not know what a good performance is so he should stick to setting up the event and not calling the event.
same same crap as usual. too much face time for the blob hasbeens. not enough distances. usatf should let the flocast type websites tape all the events. that'll solve the crap NBC coverage.
They are far from perfect; they did improve from a week ago, but showing so little of the men's 5k was a mistake. It was a great race and just when it got interesting they switched away (they should have some flexibility to stay with a race that it getting exciting)
Same Same, you got some flocast there on the side of your mouth leftover. Wipe it off. Ass.
I hear USATF TV has all the race videos. I Love USATF !

You flocast guys are blowing your capital by acting like total asses here.

Do you work for NBC? Let's hope not (hope you have a real job, or at least a job)
Yes the hammer prelims...how on earth do I live without those?
Keep Eating your own children, and see how far Track and Field progresses.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
