They have a profile on him today. It's a good read. Two things that were most interesting: 1) he's staying in school till he gets his degree (I give him a lot of credit for that, most wouldn't); 2) He's skipping Worlds so he can focus on finishing school.
What do you guys think about his choice to skipWorlds this summer so that he can graduate in December? I think it takes a lot of foresight. He gets his degree and he gives himself pleanty of time to be ready for the Olympics in 08. Since he truly wants the degree, this seems to be the best way to do it. It'll be interest to see how he performs in 08. If he runs poorly at the Olympics, some could say it's because he lacks experience that he could have gained at Worlds this year.
