Hey everybody,
I am desperate. This is my last year of college XC and I have Plantar Fasciitis. I bought a night splint and started using it the other day. It does seem to work somewhat. I also golf ball, ice, stretch, the whole shebang, but I need to train, now. I took a week off, then ran 2 miles yesterday, and it feels the same. Sometimes I think the golf ball does more harm than good too.
TO the point though. Anybody ever been in the situation where waiting for it to heal was not an option (like my situation now). If I don't get decent mileage in this summer, I will be of no help to a team that needs it.
I've read a bunch of different threads, and they all talk about PF and what to do. But I need some advice from those in similar situations.
Any serious suggestions, or any history with being in the same position would help.
