I am going to be traveling to Gulf Shores, Alabama for a week of vacation, and I am looking for places to run. If any of you have information for me that would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks alot

There aren't really any options. I assume that you are staying somewhere near the T (where 59 runs perpendicular into 182). You can run either way down 182, which pretty much sucks. Whenever I am there, I usually do the same run, where I run down 182 (East Beach Blvd) until I get to 135 (it's right by a lagoon with some boat launches). I'll run along the shoulder of 135 until I get to the Gulf State Park Golf Course, and then run around the golf course.
Make sure you run very early in the morning or late in the afternoon/evening. Obviously, it is Alabama in the summer, but Gulf Shores has hardly any shade, so it's even worse.
Find a treadmill - really.
As mentioned, go to Gulf State Park, but other than that ...
GS is very nice, but it is very hot, humid with zero shade. You can run east/west along the main beach highway or north/south going in/out of GS. I think that there is a paved path along a section of Ft. Morgan Highway with some shade.
Run on a treadmill, run early or run after dark.
If you break a tooth, say "Hi" to my Uncle Leo. ;-)
