About 3/4 the way through my run my feet go numb (feels like they're asleep), and the feeling creeps up past my achilles. It's more acute on my right foot, and sometimes it doesn't even happen on my left. I'm not running super high mileage, though I am training for a half marathon and am a fairly new runner. Right now I'm running about 4-7 miles each time. Usually the feeling goes away almost immediately after I finish my run, but this time I have persistent pain around the outside of my right calf muscle. I'm not sure if the two thigns are related, but I'd really like the numbness to stop. Does anyone know what is causing this & how I can prevent it?
