Any advice on quicker recovery in and between workouts? Also, does anyone know of any supplements that have a positive effect on 800 meter training? It seems that most things are either endurance based, or strength based, and the 800 needs both.

Sleep more, eat more, relax more. Thats pretty much all you can do.
In and between are vastly different topics.
In workouts: you want a fairly complete recovery until you get close to peaking time. Then you limit your recovery and enjoy the acid.
How about between?
i have no idea who/what/where your training is at right now, but generally, those runners with a greater aerobic capacity are able to handle a higher volume of training and recover more quickly between reps, sets and workouts. Of course, too much mileage is a bad thing for an 800m runner, but...if you're having trouble coping with the training load in season, consider boosting your aerobic training in the off season.
Plus, when you taper at the end of the season and lose all of that weekly mileage, it feels orgasmic to run.
