I have been running about 40-50 mpw for a bit of time now and would like to increase both mileage and intensity but a nagging left hamstring is holding me back. When I run, or just anytime, it feels like my left hamstring is always very tight and fatigues more quickly than the right one. My left leg in general feels tighter but it seems to all stem from the hamstring. The faster I run the quicker it seems to tighten and fatigue. It seems like there is not enough blood flow to the area or something, I really cant pinpoint it. It just feels very tight and is very bothersome some days. I stretch it alot, but besides that I am at a loss. Has anyone else ever had this problem, or does anyone have any ideas as how to remedy it? Also, I was wondering if wearing a wrap, like Rupp's could help loosen it up? What exactly is the wrap he is wearing, and where can I get one, if that will help the problem.
