i just graduated high school...i ran xc and track...had very modest pr's of 16:22 5k and 9:58 3200m....i stopped running due to an injury the week before my state meet about 3 months ago and for some pathetic reason(depression,weakness) i've taken up smoking (weed/cigarettes)...i've been smoking for only 3 months but i want to stop and start running again...anybody have any ideas of how bad i screwed my aerobic capacity up and how long it will take to fix it...
my goal is to run in the 15:30's- 15:40's by my sophmore year....is it possible?
