Hey "Yeah Right",
What is impressive to one is fodder for another in any endeavor. Perspectives on what is truly credible "achievement" vary with each person.
But, what I don't understand about you (and many others who "bash" so frequently on this board) is why it is offensive to you that some people just want to be positive and congratulatory. How does that harm anyone? How is that something that YOU take issue with?
IMHO these guys were simply after and actully had a helluva adventure and many people are interested and supportive. They never claimed to be legendary Trans-continental journey runners.
To them I say "Great job guys." (from one who has been there)
