i just finished off the final track season of my high school career, which was ruined by an achilles injury very early on. Im thinking i should take some time off (1-2 weeks) because it's not completely healed, but im worried that if i do, ill gain a bunch of weight and lose my motivation - or ill just be tortured because i hate not being able to run (i am planning to run in college by the way). Is there a happy medium out there?
