Best ASICS trainers?
Best ASICS trainers?
orange DS Trainers
gel- evolution.
but Brooks beast is better.
the ds trainers are amazing, but the price just went up to 109 a pair. boo!
ds trainer, the same as the orange ones only in red, new ones are pretty good too
The Nimbus!
it all depends on your own footstrike. the nimbus 9 is pretty nice though.
lyte
cumulus
Not strictly a trainer, but the Hyper-Speed is a righteous training flat. Train in it, race in it, it's better than most trainers or racers.
Do all Asics shoes have gel and medial posts? Do they have anything that's just a simple sheet of EVA?
try the speedstar, its more neutral

is that assuming you put a soft insole in it?
best trainer for what? and for whom?
I got a free issue of June's RW and the editors picked the Cummulus as the best shoe they reviewed.
I have always like the Kayano. I do about 100 mpw w/ a lot of roads. The kayano have good structure and durability.
The 2080 or that line 2070? are $caled down version of the Kayano. I buy online to $ave.
I like the ds trainers. I do all my runs in them and have no problems. I think the red one came before the orange ones. I tried the new ones on and they didn't have the same feel. Has anybody noticed if there is a difference in them?
I have run barefoot in the past for four months and my body felt better then than when I wear trainers. If i try racing flats will this be as close to running barefoot as i can get without actually being barefoot? I need the protection for my soles due to running off road and am afraid of stepping on glass etc. Thanks in advance....
you're not kidding... the ds trainers literally sell for $230 here in switzerland...absolutely ridiculoushowever, i actually prefer to train in the ds racersi don't like all the stability the trainers give

Landreth for easy runs
DS Trainers for faster paced work
Depends on your foot-type. If you are neutral, the Wave Rider 10, the Gel Landreth, or the Nike Zoom Hayward, are all awesome. If you are an overpronator, the Brooks Adrenaline, the GT-2120, or the Nike Structure are all really nice stability shoes. For those with flat as a board feet who need a motion control shoe, then the Asics Evolution, the Mizuno Alchemy, or the Nike Equalon are all really nice
