The first heat of the mens 4x4 was just really windy, then right after that heat the rain started coming and it felt like the wind was gusting more, so heats 2 and 3 were worse conditions than 1.

Shauneen was a state champ in HS? Wiszowaty ran 21 min for 5k. Wow. Private School recruiting base vs. public school. I know I'll be cheering for Plattsburgh, Geneseo and Cortland more often for sure now. These schools actually train their athletes to improve rather than maintain what's already been achieved.
I'm sure all private schools just train to maintain and all public schools strive to improve.

Didn't Cortland's men team have four freshmen and three sophomores in their top 7 at nationals? That's some quick training they did there.

grow up...they're both great athletes who worked very hard to get to where they are. let's stop the pissing contest before it starts.
Why do they only have 9 events listed in the decathlon?

That's just terrible for a national meet, qualifying heat or not, bad weather or crystal clear with no wind. That should not happen at Nationals.
Hey jackass, do you remember last year when the D1 indoor mile was won in 4:11? That is pathetic, this is a qualifying heat in bad weather.
hey douche leave comments like that out of this thread thats pretty uncalled for moron
8:55 wins steeple. Kosgei, a freshmen from hamilton college.
that damn kenyan, what a biatch

she'd better becareful, because cait bradley put up her steeple time in a nothing meet where she lapped the field, and garrahan shows up tired friday she's going to get her ass handed to her.
------------------------------------------------
Yep you are right Shauneen got her ass handed to her... maybe the doubters will shut up, i just think she should take her two national titles and head back for graduation but i guess a third wouldn't be too shabby and the way she is running i wouldn't count her out just yet.
bump
Leer won 15 -- big surprise
