Runs a 150.66 today winning by 4 seconds at hte dartmouth invite. Hope he gets in the Pre meet or something and runs a real time other hten a relay split. The kids got so much talent. Seems to be back to full strength and ready to fly

kind of makes me wonder if xc skiing could help a lot of runners as cross training.

he is a stud. minor corrections:
his 3:57 was at penn, not indoors (he skis ...) and he finished higher at xc nationals as a soph.
Ben is one of the most talented athletes I've ever seen. that 3:57 was literally in his third week of running after XC ski season. This year he ran a 4:03 mile only TWO weeks into track season after going to international ski races. i've been watching him race since he was a middle schooler and i've never seen a talent like him.
I ran "with" Ben back in the day, and while I didn't fully appreciate it at the time, I now realize that getting to see him perform day in and day out was a huge privelege. The kid's a straight-up stud and a really good guy. I wish him all the best--it's be awesome to see him get an official sub-4 (or 3:42, I guess) this year. I have almost no doubts that he will, and I think 3:38/3:56 actually sounds pretty reasonable. Like others have noted, he's only been on the track for a month!
Wyner owns him.
