hey im a freshman in college right now and without going into too many specifics about my situation i just wanted to know how the more experienced runners of letsrun approach the "taper" i hit 80 a couple weeks this season ive been hitting 70 for a couple weeks and my last meet is in 3 weeks, i realize i may have waited to long but due to a limited track program my school has i havent been able to have a real heart to heart with my coach about it, though i plan to. i have a meet this weekend, a week off, then my last meet the weeked after. any advice for my taper?
