hey guys,
I started running serious distance around sophomore year of high school. On non-workout days, we would go out for runs of 5-6 miles, but very, very hard. Basically, since then, i've always had some sort of feeling in the back of my head that whenever I go out running, it should be as hard as I can. I enjoy running relaxed, but I dont know, I feel sort of guilty if I run easy. I'm wondering why exactly EASY running between workouts is better than not running at all. It's just something that's been bothering for a while. Hopefully someone here understands what i mean..!
