Run on.
The Senate passed the war funding bill WITH withdrawal date by a vote of 51-47.
Heck of a run by the Senate.
Is is possible that Shrub is so far into the pocket of the neocons and oil companies that he fails to see?
Afghanistan action makes sense, Iraq not so much.
No President ever (past or present, Dem. or Rep.) would concede to anything passed by Congress that establishes a withdrawal date. I'm not saying the war was right or anything like that. Only that what Bush is doing is what every single President has or would have done in his position. Regardless of the party lines, one branch of the government ever likes another telling it what to do.
