I ran a 4:21 mile indoors and than after my season did active rest. I took the day off after my race than I jogged 2-4 miles for a few days than took a day off than jogged and htan started getting ready for my season. Yesterday I ran a 4:24 mile during a meet doing enough to win. I felt fine and it seemed pretty easy. I kicked with 275 to go seperated myself a good amount and cruised in hte last 150 meters. THan today I ran a workout. 600-1:41,1:35 400-61,63,64 300-48,48,47,47 200-30,30,30,30,29,25 high
I have never run a 25 before but I know during the end of my winter seasonat the end of practice if I went hard I could run a 26-27. I felt really good and I am really excited about this season. THis is by far the best workout I have ever run but states is 9 weeks away. Is it too early to be in the best shape I have ever been in. I am feeling great and after the veyr low key week I felt equally as rested as I have when I take a full week off. I plan on being smart and for th enext two days I will be running very easy at 7:30-8 pace because the last two days have been fast. SO anyways, is this bad that I am in amazing shape early or is it a sign that I am really improving and ready to have another break out season which I have been doing consistently.
